Our chocolate factory, which has been set up in the heart of the French region of Champagne since the end of the 1950's, is the fruit of a man's creative mind, Gilbert BROISSON, a confectioner.
He had been trained in the most famous schools and became afterwards a representative for chocolate and confectionary factories. Then he thought of making a small chocolate delicacy with a Marc de Champagne centre. It was thus the birth of this small chocolate cork which will make CHOCOGIL's reputation.
Even if today this product is best-sold in our chocolate factory (its remains a famous local speciality), we have done our best to satisfy our customer's needs thanks to a wide range of more than 150 references which are well-adapted to everyone's specific needs. Our chocolates are 100% pure cocoa butter with a high quality chocolate (the black chocolate is made with 70% of cocoa and the milk chocolate is made with 33% of cocoa). We are very keen on selecting the best origins for the ingredients which are part of our products (Spanish almonds, hazelnuts from Piemont, Sicilian pistachios, walnuts from Grenoble…).
We rely on this past to serve our customers better in the present. Our complete mastery of chocolate making combined with our commitment to focus on quality enables us to provide a complete satisfaction to those who have trusted us.
If CHOCOGIL is initially the idea of a man, today it is the fruit of the work of a team composed of 20 people. Everyday, the factory does everything to achieve perfection. Our marketing team, who is a link with the outside world, is very attentive to the customer's expectations: they advise and inform them. Then, our manufacturing team pays a great attention to the product development which must be without any defect, so there is a permanent self control at all level. Finally, our shipping department makes sure that all packages leave our chocolate factory in the most favourable conditions of packaging.
If at its setting up, CHOCOGIL made only a few kilos of chocolate delicacies, today, its sells more than 200 tons of chocolate sweets a year, made so as to respect the true chocolate factory tradition. However, the initial spirit has remained the same. If the method of production has been mechanized, human intervention is still very present in our factory.
